Is the save visible? If it is missing, check that you are on the intended platform/account and using the expected Cross Progression path.
Which version created it? Keep Classic, Next-Gen, and Remastered save context separate.
Was it modded or NG+? The official compatible-save answer does not separately resolve either case.
